Over the past while Mrs. Hourigan's grade four class has been studying owls.
They have researched owls, read about them, talked about them, and yesterday they got to see a real live owl right in their classroom.
The owl in the picture was brought to class by the Gibson's Wildlife centre. Unfortunately, this owl has lost one of his eyes and cannot be released back into it's natural habitat.
The students in this class had a wonderful opportunity to get up close to this owl. They were able to hear information about this owl specifically and learn, first hand, more information about owls.
